More than one million householders have applied for Universal Credit after seeing a drop in income caused by the lockdown due to Coronavirus.
Every householder* who receives Universal Credit, or one of the other qualifying benefits whose home has NEVER had a central heating system fitted before, can apply for a Central Heating Grant to install mains gas or LPG central heating.
If your home has never had a central heating system installed before, recipients of Universal Credit can apply for a First Time Central Heating Grant to help install central heating.
*Central Heating Grants are available to both home owners and tenants who rent their home from a private landlord.
